Welcome to Las Arecas Guest House in Merida Mexico!

The Rooms at Las Arecas

Each of our five rooms are individually decorated.
The rooms are private with private bathrooms. They
share the use of various common areas with gardens,
a fountain and chairs for reading or quiet relaxation.
All rooms can accommodate an additional individual rollaway bed for $50 pesos extra per night. Rooms
are cleaned every other day.

Sac-Beh Room or the Room of the White Road

The only upstairs room, this room is reached by a
little stairway off the communal kitchen area.
Windows on both sides can be opened for a pleasant cross breeze in a very spacious private dining and
sitting area. The adjoining bedroom has a double bed, a television, air conditioning, a ceiling fan and a view over the rooftops.

Ta'an-Kab Room or Room at the Beginning of the World

These quarters are perhaps the most private, as it
is in the back of the property. The bedroom has a
double bed and a television, with a ceiling fan
and air conditioning to keep it very cool. An
adjoining room features a kitchenette, with a stove
top, refrigerator and sink that looks out onto the garden. There is a breakfast area with room for
two, and an adjoining bathroom. Just outside the
front door there is a small semi-private terraza
with a comfortable Adirondack chair next to the
tropical greenery.

K'ooben Room or The Kitchen Room

This room opens first into a spacious kitchenette,
with a generous breakfast table and chairs. Perfect
for someone who wants to cook! The bedroom has
a double bed with a small closet, a ceiling fan
and a lovely window out onto the garden. Just
outside the front door is the inner courtyard with
the gardens and fountain.

Arecas Room

The Arecas Room will warm you with its painted
ochre walls and its beautiful iron frame bed.
The lovely bathroom is a jewel of white tile with
colored stained glass windows. The Arecas room features air conditioning, a ceiling fan and a window that opens onto a private little garden corner for a little breeze.

Tunich Room or the Stone Room

The Tunich Room provides an airy space on the second floor, complete with colonial style ceiling. It has a double bed under a ceiling fan, with a private bathroom. The room also has a balcony overlooking the garden.
