- Go to the Zocalo on Saturday night or Sunday morning for dancing,
shopping and people-watching
- Walk along the Paseo Montejo
- Take a tour out to Uxmal, Chichen Itza or Dzabilchaltun
- Take a tour to Celestun to see the flamingoes
- Take a bus to Progreso and spend the day at
the beach (and have a seafood lunch!)
- Rent a car and spend the day along the
Hacienda Route, the Puuc
Route or the
Convent Route in the Yucatecan countryside
- Buy a hammock and practice lying in it
(spare hammock hooks are available at
Las Arecas!)
- Shop at the Casa de Las Artesanias for
local arts and crafts
