• Go to the Zocalo on Saturday night or Sunday morning for dancing, shopping and people-watching
• Walk along the Paseo Montejo
• Take a tour out to Uxmal, Chichen Itza or Dzabilchaltun
• Take a tour to Celestun to see the flamingoes
• Take a bus to Progreso and spend the day at
  the beach (and have a seafood lunch!)
• Rent a car and spend the day along the
  Hacienda Route, the Puuc Route or the
  Convent Route in the Yucatecan countryside
• Buy a hammock and practice lying in it

  Las Arecas!)
